I started this business because it's an honor to watch the connection between two people grow through every season. Though I’ve been featured in some my favorite wedding magazines and blogs, I’m most proud of showcasing each and every couple’s story and the start to their legacy.

I love to create a tailored experience unique to you and Hunter, and all of your guests coming to enjoy Brittland. Based off of what Sara and I discussed for your wedding day coverage, here is the collection I've created just for you.
I love engagement sessions because it gives us an opportunity to get to know one another before the pressure and time inevitable constraints of the big day. "Practicing" at your engagement session let's you spend more time with your guests on the big day! It's also a great way to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you. Win, win, win!

Not getting married in your home city? Engagement sessions are the perfect excuse to include a destination in your wedding photography experience. I've traveled from California to New York City and more for engagement portraits and am always going where my couples want to take me! Feel free to reach out for specific travel fees if this applies.

How would you describe your photography style?
My goal is to take romantic photos that capture the story of the wedding day. My priority is not just the bride and groom, but your family and friends who are there to celebrate with them! I think the details, setting, and guests at a wedding are all so important to capture in order to really show what the wedding was all about. I love portraits that feel natural and not stiff, but I always give lots of direction to my couples in order to achieve that look! I make it a priority to help couples feel comfortable in front of my camera - that’s when photos feel the most authentic and natural!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you shoot with film or digital mediums?
I am a digital film photographer that loves imagery that emulates that of film photography, without the risk of missing a moment with film technology.
When do you charge travel fees?
Typically travel fees are added on to any wedding or engagement session outside of a 60 mile radius from our home in Finksburg, Maryland. I travel often for my work and love that part of my job, so we like to make it super easy for my couples to take us with them to their wedding. All you’ll need to cover is the cost of getting us there (generally a flight + rental car), plus a hotel for myself and my second shooter for the duration of the event!
We want to book, what's next?
Once this proposal looks perfect for your needs, I'll gather all of your information to send over the contract and collect a retainer. The retainer is 1/3 of the collection cost.
